Fannie May

Today I awoke to my favorite Fannie May candies on my desk! Mint Meltaways and Pixies - Yum Yum! My wonderful husband had a business trip in Chicago and surprised me with them this morning! Thank you honey!!!! It sure does help to turn my frown upside down! I am getting used to the travel with his new job but I do miss him when he is gone even though he is only gone 1 or 2 nights.

Happy Birthday Alexandra!

Alexandra turned 8 today! Boy I can't believe she is 8. What a beautiful girl she is growing up to be! We took 5 of her friends to Sweet & Sassy for manicures and pedicures and then they had a sleepover. It was fun! Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Beating the Summertime blues

We've been keeping busy. Day 28 of summer. We started off the summer with a visit with Eric and Dana on Memorial Day. Despite the raining weather we had a blast on their farm fishing. Jacob caught a Fish!

We went to a park with 4 other families and the kids had fun together. So far we have gone to 2 swim parties. Those were actually fun despite my stress of trying to watch 4 kids in water! Vacation Bible School started this week and Jacob, Alexandra and Isaac are having tons of fun. We started riding our bikes around the neighborhood everyday. Isaac and Victoria love to go for the ride in the trailer and Jacob and Alexandra are getting stronger on the hills. Tuesday's are Meet at Joe's days. We meet my Bunco friends at Joe's Crab shack for happy hour every Tuesday. It is a Great deal for kids meals and 25 cent appetizers. All the Kids played on the playscape and in the sand for 3 1/2 hours! Gave us mom's our much needed social time!

We had rain again today so we got out the shaving cream and they played for hours mushing and finger painting it on wax paper. Very cheap boredom buster!

New to blogging

Well I have been reading blogs for about 7 months now unless you count the caringbridge sites I checked daily for over 3 years now. So I am not sure how this blogging will go but I'll give a try!
